We invite you to join our 2024 WAW Global Sustainability Competition.

 

We encourage greater environmental interest and participation from the global community through competitions. Through our competitions, we aim to offer stimulating learning opportunities through participants’ hands-on involvement and experience.

 

Our flagship competition is the WAW WAW Global Sustainability Competition, which invites students to explore and showcase their thoughts and ideas regarding environmental challenges. Through the competition, students can gain more in-depth knowledge about environmental challenges and become part of the solution. In the process, students can also hone their communication, critical analysis, and creative skills.

2024 Theme: “Everyday Actions for the Environment”

 

The Competition has the following submission categories:

 

• Visual Art / Photography

• Written Word / Spoken Word

• Film / Performing Arts

• Interactive & Multimedia

• Research/Proposals

 

 

The WAW Global Sustainability Competition  is open to students aged 10-18. Students may enter as individuals or teams. This is an international competition, and students residing anywhere in the world are eligible to enter. Students who have graduated from high school at the time of the competition deadline are not eligible to enter.

Competition Submission Deadline: May 1~August 31, 2024.

Competition Entry fee : KRW 30,000  or USD 20

 

Notice :

• Entry fee will be accepted starting one month prior to the deadline.

• Reasons for Non-Refundable Entry Fees

1. Cancellation After Registration Deadline: If costs related to the preparation and operation of the event have already been incurred, the registration fee will not be refunded after the registration deadline.

2. Personal Reasons: If participants are unable to attend the event due to personal reasons (e.g., health issues, schedule changes), the fee is non-refundable.

3. Event Preparation Costs: Costs incurred for the preparation of the event make it difficult to refund the fees.

• As such, the fees for the event are non-refundable. Please refer to the refund policy and agree to it before paying the registration fee.
